Hello and welcome to my blog on knitting and Amigurumi. My name is Kathleen but my friends call me Kat.

You might ask really, another blog on knitting and amigurumi and two different needle arts. knitting verses crochet . .?

I  can answer that:  
First and foremost it’s about the love of knitting and on occasion the love of amigurumi . Another reason is to inspire people to create and think outside the box.
Reason three is to help answer question for you while you're in your pjs with your project and the hot or cold beverage of your choice, with out you having to buy a book or go to your local yarn shop
 ( which would mean no pjs no comfy chair or couch and possibly no favorite beverage.)


My desire is to answer the forever questions on yarn types and needle sizes what goes with what , why it’s important to find out gauge and how it work.
 
I will have a q&a section to answer your questions ,and if I don’t have the answer I will do my best to find it for you and tell you who, where or how I found it .
 I ask that we all share pictures of  projects, the reason behind them, whether it be fun or necessity, and any tips or tricks you learned along the way.

Fallow me as I share with you the antics and adventures my knitting and amigurumi get me into.
 


Contrary to popular belief it IS ok to do both, there are no knitting or amigurumi police out there ,if you love both, do both!

  Hi ho fiber friends it’s Been 7 months and 4 days since my last post I have been relatively busy and no excuses . I last posted Feb, in March I went to Vermont for 7 days and upon my return we were amidst a pandemic . I have been trying to play catch-up ever since. I, like most of the rest of the United States could hardly believe what was going on let alone try and adjust our lives to such a drastic change that seemed to happen over night. Hi Ho fiber friends Well, like a lucky penny I’m back. I am here to share another Great yarn shop  I found on my adventures a lot closer   to home than I thought. This shop is called Rumpelstiltskin it’s a great little shop a mile away from old town Sacramento right next door   to a lovely tea shop and a wonderful restaurant called the Fox and Goose .
