welcome 2019

Hi Ho fiber friends,
I’m back from the longest coffee break ever, with several pots of tea as well.
What can I say except life Happens. 2018 was definitely a challenging year
My apologies for being gone soooo long.

Now where have I left off? Ah yes, random thoughts and rantings!

So here we are in 2019 (where did the time go?) moving forward into another year of stuff and things and life in general can seem a bit overwhelming, but never fear, Because we have yarn, knitting needles and crochet hooks

My last post I stated some  knit others crochet and some of us do both and that’s fine.
There is no knitting or crocheting police to say you can't, So do what makes you happy. I know some may disagree and others may scoff, I still say its ok to do both!

With all that being said I would love to hear about and see what all of you are working on. Your finished, your WIPS, your stash or what you are getting ready to start!
I have several WIPS and an almost finished and I do have several ready to start. I have the patterns, the needles and the yarns just can’t decide on which to cast first. I also have an  amigurumi pattern of my own to work on.

My plans for a knit along, will be coming together soon,  I will post the pattern (nothing fancy, just something for fun.) along with  yarn and needle sizes, as it gets closer.  It will be a great project for newbie knitters and for you advanced knitters feel free to kick it up a notch and put your own personal spin on it!

From time to time I will be posting a bit about  cross stitch
YES, I said cross stitch, I know right!  How could a knitter / crocheter who is pushing the envelope by doing both even think about adding cross stitch let alone say it out loud!!!
Well, I do, I am and I did!
So if any of you are closet cross stitchers  or you cross stitch freely,
I would love to hear about your WIPS or your finishes or pictures.

Well, I think I have ruffled enough feathers for today.
So Have a great day and keep on doing what brings you joy
Knitting, crocheting, and yes, even cross stitch.
