Hi Ho fiber friends,

I'm back!! It's been a crazy couple of weeks in the new year, with a 26th wedding anniversary crammed in there.
Here
are a few photos from my trip, and a fabulous yarn store where I love to shop or just visit.

The Mrand I got both stormy seas as well as sunshine. I love the ocean, it's my calm, serenity, I am always happiest  when I can walk along the shore with water up to my calves. Even in the middle of January yet always with a careful eye on the waves. The sea is not to be taken lightly as beautiful as she is,She can also be very dangerous when not respected.

On our travels outside our hotel, I met a seagull and I named him George. Don't know if that's his real name but he didn't seem to mind that I called him George. He sat on our patio wall and shared my breakfast, even ate out of my hand a couple of times over the 5 days we were there. He even came to the car the morning we were leaving as if to say goodbye so I opened the car door and said my farewell and as we left he flew away. Hope to see him the next time I'm there .

In my  travels I also fed a bunny and took a photo of a raven besides the tons of pictures and videos of the ocean. Now mind you I don't just take pictures for the sake of taking picturesI also take pictures for the color combinations that nature has put together.  This fall  I will be sticking some yarn in "The old dye pot" to see what comes out, I will post pictures so you can see too. I'm hoping to have an oceanic themed yarn colors, with some similar themed stitch markers, but more on that in a couple of months. Keep an eye out for my color wave naming contest later on.

Well, as this post as seamed to take us sailing for adventure, I leave you with this. If any of you knitters out there have a kindle fire I would love to know what you think are the best knitting apps to download. I love Ravelry, but sometimes in my travels there is no Wi-Fi so I need an app I can use offline. Yes! I truly said no Wi-Fi (How does she do that?).

What is your favorite spot? What or where inspires you? Where do you find yourself most at ease?
I'll be back soon
