Hello fiber friends,
Have I got a shop to share with you,
Fillory in San Jose ca  what can I say except fabulous!!

This shop  has beautiful colors, textures, and projects as far as the eye can see. 
The staff is amazing and so helpful,there is never a wrong question to ask and if they don’t have the answer( not likely ).   They will  find it for you.

Classes are going on all the time and the staff are knitters of all things, which makes it a wonderful place to bring all your questions and ask for help. The array of colors is beautiful and the needle variety is such that any size you need you can find here.  They even have birch wood dpn’s  (I had to have a set of those!). Fillory has a wonderful large table for classes or just to sit and knit.
 The photos of these two lovely ladies, has a great story. They lived on a small island in Washington for many years, where they raise their own sheep,dye and spin their wool and the shop carries their whole line. Vibrant colors and wonderful fiber, you can’t get any better than farm to needles or hooks than that!
This shop has a sole owner and the help from two other lovely ladies that I met to help with all your knitting and crocheting needs.

There are plenty of places around to take a break, grab a coffee or a snack with plenty of parking.
One of my top 5 yarn shops so far in my travels, but there are many more shops out there for me to visit, shop from, take photos of and bring you the best information on each one.

  Hi ho fiber friends it’s Been 7 months and 4 days since my last post I have been relatively busy and no excuses . I last posted Feb, in March I went to Vermont for 7 days and upon my return we were amidst a pandemic . I have been trying to play catch-up ever since. I, like most of the rest of the United States could hardly believe what was going on let alone try and adjust our lives to such a drastic change that seemed to happen over night. Even though forced to stay home a lot more than normal I never seemed to have the time to write let alone gather any thoughts that would make sense to any one other than myself. Hi Ho fiber friends Well, like a lucky penny I’m back. I am here to share another Great yarn shop  I found on my adventures a lot closer   to home than I thought. This shop is called Rumpelstiltskin it’s a great little shop a mile away from old town Sacramento right next door   to a lovely tea shop and a wonderful restaurant called the Fox and Goose .
