Hi ho fiber friends,

  It’s me once again with another fabulous yarn store.

What can I say except wow! This store right here in Reno, Nevada (yes,I said Reno,Nevada.) 
The shop is called "Yarn Refuge"  from one end of the store to the other, you'll find bright colors, high energy and enthusiasm in every corner of the shop.

From the table for classes, knitting or crocheting, or just project finishing, to the sofas to sit and quietly knit or crochet, this store has a little of everything.  Colors and fibers as far as the eye can see. There is wonderful merchandise, to find that perfect gift for your favorite knitter or crocheter.  
Yarn Refuge is going to be part of the yarn crawl happening in September, that I mentioned in my last blog. Don’t worry, my next blog in a week or so will have all the info on all the yarn shops participating in the event. 
 For now,back to Yarn Refuge.  Pam,who is the owner of the shop, along with the other members; Susan and Terry have time for everyone. They are warm,welcoming and eager to help you find the perfect yarn or tools for your current or future projects.
They have several just sit and knit times and offer knowledgeable help to get you through whatever has you stuck.   They have ongoing and recurring classes as well, so don’t miss out on this jewel of a knit shop.Simply wonderful!

  Hi ho fiber friends it’s Been 7 months and 4 days since my last post I have been relatively busy and no excuses . I last posted Feb, in March I went to Vermont for 7 days and upon my return we were amidst a pandemic . I have been trying to play catch-up ever since. I, like most of the rest of the United States could hardly believe what was going on let alone try and adjust our lives to such a drastic change that seemed to happen over night. Even though forced to stay home a lot more than normal I never seemed to have the time to write let alone gather any thoughts that would make sense to any one other than myself. Hi Ho fiber friends Well, like a lucky penny I’m back. I am here to share another Great yarn shop  I found on my adventures a lot closer   to home than I thought. This shop is called Rumpelstiltskin it’s a great little shop a mile away from old town Sacramento right next door   to a lovely tea shop and a wonderful restaurant called the Fox and Goose .
