Hi ho fiber friends  it has been a while since my last blog,
What can I say life just sometimes takes a quick right turn and it takes a while to get back on track, Well I’m hoping that I'm back for a while now and I can catch you up.

I have had some thoughts and some insight and even some suggestions from my editor and publisher (daughter) that besides including fun facts, photos and information about brick and mortar shops,I should write about me or better phrased the things I make and sell and the projects I have on the needles with photos and what not.

I have never been good when it comes to self promoting and it feels rather awkward
So I am hoping once againmy editor/ publisher (daughter) will put on her super hero cape on to my efforts and make them more enjoyable to read (here’s hoping).

Well, first my normal banter I am in California and stitches west is soon approaching so I will take photos, talk to people and give you the run down as best I can.

I will also be taking you along for an adventure in March to the lovely state of Vermont
Some place I have never been before.

I am hoping to get some video for my upcoming long awaited YouTube channel
That will feature mostly knitting related some amigarumi   And a few other things that fit under my name of Nature’s stitches,

Now,as for my editor / publisher, (daughter).  She does have a name, however, her choice to fill in or not

What I am currently working on   It’s just a simple vanilla sock pattern, however, what makes it fun is I am doing it on a 9 inch circular size 2 needle (which I love)
And it is with my hand dyed yarn and the stitch markers I make

Here is a photo of a hat
I just finished for my grandson,
And a hat for my granddaughter with a matching one for her American girl doll.
The doll hat pattern is my own I will have a written pattern shortly for that one.

I am also working on a sweater for my grandson, which I am loving

Lastly, on the needles I have a hat that I am trying to knit for me,as I have heard Vermont is cold in March.

I have really never knit for myself only for others.

Now as for the yarns used the hat and my grandson's sweater, they were not dyed by me. I will be remaking the sweater in my own yarn. I love the pattern and it will grow with him.
Which brings me to answer a question I know you are going to ask about my hand dyed yarns and knitting for kids  because they outgrow them so fast.

Well, I am dying a line of yarn for children friendly projects that are going to cost just about the same as what you would purchase in your LYS. I think knitting with fun one of a kind color ways is great fun for kids as well as adults, so why not,There is never a wasted knit project in my opinion.

Well, that’s it for this update I hope to be back on a regular basis with fun projects and yarns and my YouTube channel.    See you soon
And remember for every dark cloud in your life there is a rainbow just on the other side
And really who doesn’t smile when they see a rainbow šŸŒˆ?
