  Hi ho fiber friends,  

 For those of you who are returning to my blog thank, you to all of you who are  new, welcome.
It seems like only yesterday I finally updated my blog ( because it was yesterday )

There is more to share and I wanted all the blah blah blah to be In my First post so this one could be fun just to be A little crazy ( who knew?). Well my editor for one and that’s beside the point.

The second annul Sierra Nevada  Yarn Crawl is Sept 11,12,13  2020
There is a new bag this year and a new pin. The crawl is mostly a cyber crawl this year because of safety measures surrounding the pandemic. Check the Sierra Nevada yarn crawl page https://www.sierranevadayarncrawl.com/
 you can find all the shops that are participating along with what special kits they will have for the crawl and how to get them.

One of the shops participating is Pioneer yarns in Minden Nevada check out my past posts on shops I have photos and details about this shop And this year for some lucky participant they will win this  stitch marker set

The set has 4 stitch markers   In pairs of 2 for marking the back and the sleeves the set also has a "beginning of round" stitch marker as well as a cute squirrel progress keeper.

Pioneer yarns is a great shop with wonderful fibers and everything you need from start to finish for a project. The staff is wonderful they always greet you with a smile and an eagerness to help. You'll find inspiration every where you look. There are limited store hours to shop in person and masks are required. Remember I am a big supporter of shopping our brick and mortar shops when ever possible. They keep knitting, quilting ,cross stitching ,and crocheting alive.

  During these unprecedented times they are doing their best to help while keeping everyone safe. So please whenever you can support your local store either in person or by visiting their website.We need to keep our brick and mortar stores around because we all know that they are there to help, teach classes, keep us updated on techniques and what’s new in the crafting creating world that we all love. They are also our family.

  Hi ho fiber friends it’s Been 7 months and 4 days since my last post I have been relatively busy and no excuses . I last posted Feb, in March I went to Vermont for 7 days and upon my return we were amidst a pandemic . I have been trying to play catch-up ever since. I, like most of the rest of the United States could hardly believe what was going on let alone try and adjust our lives to such a drastic change that seemed to happen over night. Even though forced to stay home a lot more than normal I never seemed to have the time to write let alone gather any thoughts that would make sense to any one other than myself. Hi Ho fiber friends Well, like a lucky penny I’m back. I am here to share another Great yarn shop  I found on my adventures a lot closer   to home than I thought. This shop is called Rumpelstiltskin it’s a great little shop a mile away from old town Sacramento right next door   to a lovely tea shop and a wonderful restaurant called the Fox and Goose .
