Hi ho fiber friends Natures stitches here,

We all seem to have so much going on while for most of us it’s still masks and social distancing.Yet it still would seem, there are not enough hours in a day to get done what we had hoped to accomplish.

I did put the finishing touches on my daughters/ editors 40th birthday party.  It was a grand time with great live music,  good food,  lots of laughs and memories being made. ((We adhered to all rules and regulations))

With all this I somehow  found time to design and write the pattern for some fingerless mitts that my grand son insists give him super powers. Don't remember that being part of the pattern, and if my grandson insists it must be so.

I will have these written and for purchase in the next month or so. (super powers not guaranteed)
Simple patterns, fancy or non fancy fibers, your choice. This pair pattern will knit up in an afternoon .

I have been rearranging my studio which of course means I put things(like projects I'm working on) in places so safe even I cant find them. Any one else have that problem? No?  Just me?...ok,  well then...

I am Looking forward to the arrival of fall not just the title but the weather to change as well

Cold mornings and evenings make perfect  weather for baking up sweet treats and home made soups it also means more time inside, knitting sipping tea. Watching the leaves outside change and nature do her thing.

Stop by again, I will have photos of projects ready to cast on ,3 ready to wind and for the needles.
Until next time,
Stay safe, stay healthy and keep knitting.

Hey all    editor/daughter here.....hi.... my mom and I with our family were supposed to be in Disneyland for the big birthday and bash, as we all know that couldn't happen.  So my mom being the bada@@ she is, brought Disneyland to me. complete with "madam leota"  pirates of the Caribbean and the jungle cruise being represented in the decorations she made.Oh.. That awesome display of the headless horseman yeah  the one that lights up... is replicated by her, by hand,,  BY HAND  is homage to the statue you find in California adventure durring halloween time,  with her own little twist of course.  The day was great the company superb and the decorations amazing!  Thanks mom!!   Ok  ..ok.. I'm done now .......K Byeeee
